Pompeii

The room Pompei is linked to the history of this ancient city, which today is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. The roman city was in fact buried by the lava after the eruption of mount Vesuvius in 79 ad.C.
The archaeological excavations, which began in the course of the eighteenth century, they gradually brought to light a village that played an important role at the time of the roman Empire.

Small Curiosity

If during your stay you will want to visit the excavations of Pompeii, you'll notice that many of the walls of the houses of the city are characterized by a red color, prepared using a special paste of molluscs, which now takes the name of pompeian Red.
